Hey everyone! I'm a girl who has lurked on Gurochan for years without ever posting anything. Recently, I've been re-learning Python programming, & I want to put it to use making a text-based adventure game about snuff & gore.

I am a little lacking in inspiration though, so I figured I'd get some input from my fellow degenerates. So far, my pitch is this:

Every year a totally-not-a-hunger-games-rippoff-style battle royal happens, where a bunch of random people get dropped on an island covered in weapons & only 1 leaves alive. This year is special, because all the winners of the previous years have been dropped on the island this time, for an all-stars round of the game. Unfortunately, for some reason, the main character, a schoolgirl with absolutely no combat experience, is also thrown into the mix! Will she snuff all her competitors? Or will they manage to do it first?

The two main things I would like ideas for are the geography of the island/important locations on it, & the various other competitors. I want as much variety in both as possible. Any input is appreciated.

rather that a "Battle Royal"/HUngergames sort of thing why not more like an Ultimate "survivor" type show. they get dropped on the island and the last one standing gets to come home. food and weapons are scarce. and the victi… i mean… the contestants range in age from 10 to 30 of both sexes. the island is semi tropical but isolated by fast currants and sharp and jagged reefs so swimming off is not an option. no mater how long it takes no one gets off the island until only one is left. that should give room to allow almost any kink/perversion/ atrocity you can imagine.

The idea of it being survival-focused is an interesting one, but I do want the island littered with weapons for more fun ways to snuff. The background as a survival show makes for a good explanation as to how it all got started though, & I imagine the showrunners would deflect criticism of the increasing levels of brutality on display by saying "the contestants don't have to kill anyone, they simply choose to! they could just survive on their own & still win!" There would be few animals and no eatable plants on the island though, so hunting & foraging aren't options. You either have to find one of the very few rations hidden away on the island… or eat your fallen competitors. Of course, most people opt to try to win quickly enough hunger doesn't become a factor.

Hey Ms Payne, I think your adventure game is really a great idea! The original conception of a battle-royal-esque combat arena is just perfect. The survivor concept is cool too, but I think it takes away from the savagery of the scenario.

Here are some possible locales that could be settings for the combat:

The island is an abandoned, low-level tourist destination in the Bahamas or perhaps Tahiti. It is privately owned and the decrepit facilities have been in disuse for years.

1. A loading dock with a long concrete pier that extends a few hundred feet into the water. A victim might be trapped on the pier and have no chance of escape other than jumping into the water. This would invite certain death as the pursuer(s) could easily pick them off.

2. A main street with a row of 7 to 8 small bed-and-breakfasts and a general store at one end. All in terrible disrepair.

3. A large warehouse with a catwalk along the perimeter and large crates of random junk interspersed with rusted machinery on the concrete floor.

4. Several beach front bungalos that each extend into the water from the beach.

5. Some sort of arena especially created for the competition. Definitely not a hunger games rip off of the cornucopia! I swear! It could be pretty elaborate, with multiple cat walks and ramps, tunnels, and death pits that players could fall into.

Looking forward to this!

Also can I be in your story as a character that gets belly snuffed?

I've been busy with classes, but I'm starting official work on the program now.

Obviously, this is a big project, so I'm going to start by making a mockup of the combat system, as sexualized violence is the primary appeal & everything else is just set dressing.

I've got some good ideas, but they're meaningless unless I get them functioning, so I'll get to work & provide regular updates.

I started work today, but I keep running into this very annoying bug. It's not even anything directly related with the actual logic of the program, it's just variables refusing to do their job! It's highly frustrating. I'm quitting for today, & I'll have a crack at it in a little while. If anyone knows Python 3, I could use some help figuring out where I'm going wrong.

Hi. Please give me your email contact so we can talk about it. This is an interesting project.

Hey all!

It's been ages since I've made an update here because I kinda hit a brick wall, & not in the sexy way. I learned some new techniques though, & I got back to it!

After hours of hard work, I have a working-ish prototype of a gladiatorial combat game (which could, once finished, be turned into the type of thing I initially proposed).

It's still lacking in many basic features, so it's not in a state to be posted publicly yet, but you can email me if you're interested in playtesting the version I've got.
